Meet the team
I grew up in Germany and graduated from Aachen University in Germany with a master’s degree in 2000. After obtaining my PhD from the same university in 2005 in the field of restorative dentistry, I decided to come to England.
I had worked in various practices before taking over Daventry Dental Care in 2009. I am a member of the Verein Deutscher Zahnaerzte as well as of the British Dental Association.
My practice has a special interest in the fields of restorative and aesthetic dentistry. However, I like all aspects of advanced prosthodontics (replacement of missing teeth with permanent or removable appliances). When performing root canals I use a gentle rotary file system, which provides a high degree of predictable success.
I am passionate about creating beautiful smiles with both natural form and function. I am proud that I can bring back beautiful, healthy smiles which restore patients’ self-confidence. My dental treatment is customised to ensure that the need of each individual patient is met.
I am fortunate to be able to utilise some of the best cosmetic dental laboratories in England, so the crowns and porcelain laminates look and function great. I regularly attend training courses around the world.
My philosophy is a thorough approach to designing a complete and healthy smile in harmony with the very best aesthetics.
I graduated in 2008 with a Distinction in Clinical Dentistry from the University of Birmingham and have gained extensive experience in various hospital positions in oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgeries in addition to general practice.
I am a firm believer in continuing education and have obtained my diploma from the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011 and a Masters in Dental Implantology from the University of Manchester, where I worked as an honourary clinical lecturer.
I have successfully completed my four year specialist training program in Prosthodontics at King’s College, Guy’s Hospital London, passing with clinical distinction. I have also completed a further year-long postgraduate certificate in Oral Surgery at the University of Bristol.
I am an active member of the International Team for Implantology (ITi) and am a member of the British Society of Prosthodontics and Association of Dental Implantology. I pride myself in the compassionate, caring, ethical manner in which I treat my patients.
I accept referrals for:
- Dental implants, including bone grafting, sinus grafting and teeth in a day
- Management of toothwear
- Complex crown and bridge work, including full mouth rehabilitations
- Removable prosthetics
- Complex tooth removal
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, playing with my little girl and I am an avid Leicester City fan.
She graduated from Masaryk University with a Masters degree in Dental Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and aim to motivate all patients to achieve and maintain optimum oral hygiene.
In her free time, she enjoy keeping fit, traveling and painting.
Dr Cope uses the Osstem and Nobel Biocare implant systems and has over 20 years experience in this procedure.
He qualified from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1992. He then worked as an associate in Bromsgrove carrying out routine dentistry and Oral Surgery under General Anaesthetic. He also worked in a local Oral Surgery department under local and general anaesthetic. In 1998 he gained a certificate in restorative dentistry from St Ann’s in Manchester. He also has successfully completed an implant dentistry course.
I qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist in 2013 from Birmingham university, from a young age I knew I would be working within the preventative side of healthcare and was drawn towards the preventative side of dentistry as I grew older, I love working within the dental team helping patients to achieve and maintain their ideal smile.
I am particularly keen to work with nervous patients to help them become more comfortable with being in dental settings, I also really enjoy working towards achieving healthy gums, by fighting gum disease through helping patients establish a cleaning routine that is adapted to suit both themselves is really important and treating their dental needs and through active treatment within the practice also helps to achieve that smile patients are longing to see in the mirror.
I find that it is important for patients to understand that the cause of gum disease is through neglecting their oral hygiene and seeing the change a simple thing of having a healthy mouth after adapting their daily cleaning routine and a thorough course of treatment can make on a persons life.
Outside of work I enjoy time with my partner and family, walking with our dog Titan the Pomeranian and at home with our show Maine Coon Woody who has won many awards. With my mother, I also help with breeding Maine Coon cats and together we show them across Europe.
In the future, I hope to further my skills by studying sedation and hypnosis to help treat nervous patients.

I am passionate about how good oral hygiene can benefit general health and well-being.
I take pride in making my patients feel comfortable and at ease when they attend the surgery for a hygienist visit with me.

I will treat early and severe cases of gum disease by providing an oral hygiene routine tailored to each individual patient’s needs, carry out both ultrasonic and hand scaling maintaining excellent cross infection measures.
Keeping up to date with necessary guidelines and updated information through a planned Continual Professional Development Program is also of great importance to me.

When children come into the practice, I can’t help but engage with them, to involve them in the process.
I have worked with many clinicians throughout my career, including endodontists, orthodontists and cosmetic dentists; further aiding my clinical knowledge. There is always something new to learn, and I hope to continue learning and growing whilst at Daventry Dental Care.
When not at work, I am mummy to my 2 young boys, and I also enjoy reading and gardening
