Meet the team

I grew up in Germany and graduated from Aachen University in Germany with a master’s degree in 2000. After obtaining my PhD from the same university in 2005 in the field of restorative dentistry, I decided to come to England.

I had worked in various practices before taking over Daventry Dental Care in 2009. I am a member of the Verein Deutscher Zahnaerzte as well as of the British Dental Association.

My practice has a special interest in the fields of restorative and aesthetic dentistry. However, I like all aspects of advanced prosthodontics (replacement of missing teeth with permanent or removable appliances). When performing root canals I use a gentle rotary file system, which provides a high degree of predictable success.

I am passionate about creating beautiful smiles with both natural form and function. I am proud that I can bring back beautiful, healthy smiles which restore patients’ self-confidence. My dental treatment is customised to ensure that the need of each individual patient is met.

I am fortunate to be able to utilise some of the best cosmetic dental laboratories in England, so the crowns and porcelain laminates look and function great. I regularly attend training courses around the world.

My philosophy is a thorough approach to designing a complete and healthy smile in harmony with the very best aesthetics.

I graduated from India in 2002, having completed the UK qualifying exams I have been practicing ever since. I enjoy all aspects of routine dentistry and my main interests lie in quality patient care, including preventative, cosmetic and restorative dental care.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy walking and listening to music.

I qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist in 2013 from Birmingham university, from a young age I knew I would be working within the preventative side of healthcare and was drawn towards the preventative side of dentistry as I grew older, I love working within the dental team helping patients to achieve and maintain their ideal smile.

I am particularly keen to work with nervous patients to help them become more comfortable with being in dental settings, I also really enjoy working towards achieving healthy gums, by fighting gum disease through helping patients establish a cleaning routine that is adapted to suit both themselves is really important and treating their dental needs and through active treatment within the practice also helps to achieve that smile patients are longing to see in the mirror.

I find that it is important for patients to understand that the cause of gum disease is through neglecting their oral hygiene and seeing the change a simple thing of having a healthy mouth after adapting their daily cleaning routine and a thorough course of treatment can make on a persons life.

Outside of work I enjoy time with my partner and family, walking with our dog Titan the Pomeranian and at home with our show Maine Coon Woody who has won many awards. With my mother, I also help with breeding Maine Coon cats and together we show them across Europe.

In the future, I hope to further my skills by studying sedation and hypnosis to help treat nervous patients.
